Mendon, Mass., October 21, 2013 – Visual Magnetics has promoted one colleague and has added another to strategic positions at the company.

Joel Guadagnoli is promoted to Director, Client Services, where he will be responsible for managing relationships with Visual Magnetics’ growing client base and assisting with business development strategy. “Joel Guadagnoli’s promotion to Director, Client Services will allow Visual Magnetics to serve our global customers with the focus and excellence that our company and products are known for,” said Joe Deetz, CEO of Visual Magnetics. Previously, Guadagnoli was Product Specialist and Manager, Client Services at Visual Magnetics, where he helped cultivate client relationships, conducted trainings in North America and overseas with sales partners and printers, and oversaw the day-to-day activities in the applications department.

Prior to joining Visual Magnetics, Guadagnoli designed and fabricated experiential environments and visual messaging in print and media for trade shows and events. “Making the transition from tradeshow and event marketing to retail environments and graphics has been very exciting for me. I’m looking forward to continuing to helping us break new ground in new and evolving markets.”

Naomi Mukai joins the team as Visual Magnetics’ new Public Relations and Digital Strategy Manager. She is the first new hire at Visual Magnetics’ growing New York City satellite office, where she joins Creative Director, Tori Deetz. In her role, Mukai will responsible for developing integrated communications strategies, and managing relationships with influencers and press contacts. Her position is critical in elevating the brand’s position in the architecture and design community. “We are excited to have Naomi on board,” said Joe Deetz, “her expertise in developing and managing social media communities and her strong PR background will allow Visual Magnetics products to expand into markets where we are relatively unknown today.”

Prior to joining Visual Magnetics, Mukai worked as a strategy associate at Global Strategy Group in New York City, where she held client accounts such as Nestlé Waters North America, Major League Soccer and New York City Department of Health. Hailing from Toronto, Ontario, Mukai also worked at Toronto social media firm Rocket XL where she managed online communities for national brands like Caramilk and Samsung Mobile Canada.

Troy Morrison joins the customer support team as Visual Magnetics’ new Product Specialist, where he will be responsible for all aspects of technical support for the company’s diverse product line. Morrison’s background includes seven years in creative services, where he provided demonstrations and educated clients on technical artwork. “Troy will be a great fit in our client services team where the focus is on training our customers to use our products successfully,” said Joe Deetz. Morrison states, "I am very excited to be involved in supporting a new visual technology that allows both creativity and utility with visual graphics and messaging."
